Orbit for Business

Hire from a careers page that Google reads.

Post a job once: it gets its own page with Google for Jobs markup, a widget for your own site, and one-click applications from people already on Orbit. Orbit ranks each applicant against your must-haves and shows the evidence; your team decides.

Free for one job and one seat. Your company is verified through its own domain before its jobs go live, which keeps fake employers out.

No automatic rejections: knock-out answers are flagged, and a person clicks Reject. Names and photos are never inputs to the ranking.

How it works

From a brief to a hire, in one place.

  1. acme.com

    Step 1: Verify and post

Add your company, prove the domain with a work email or a DNS record, and write the job, or let Orbit draft it from a short brief.

  2. Apply

    Step 2: Collect applications

Your careers page, your own site's widget and Google for Jobs send people to one form. Orbit users apply in one click with a resume they choose.

  3. Pipeline

    Step 3: Review together

Ranked with reasons, flagged on knock-outs, moved through your stages with notes, @mentions and scorecards. Emails go out from Orbit with replies to you.

The toolkit

A calm, complete applicant tracker.

  • Ranking that shows its work

"Matches 6 of 8 must-haves", each with the line from the resume that shows it. It sorts; it never decides.

  • Careers page and Google for Jobs

Each open job is a page with JobPosting markup, in Orbit's sitemap, and taken out when the job closes.

  • Board and list

Drag or use the keyboard to move applicants, select many to move or reject at once, tag and search.

  • Team, scorecards and scheduling

Five roles, a 1-4 rubric per stage with hire or no hire, and interview times the applicant picks, with a calendar invite.

  • Data controls and audit log

Retention you set, delete on request, CSV export, and a log of every move and every ranking's model version.

Questions

Questions people ask first.

Something else? Ask the Orbit team.

How do you stop fake employers and job scams?

A company can draft jobs right away, but it can publish them only after proving its domain: a work email at the company's own website, or a DNS record on it. Free email addresses can't verify a company. Anyone can report a job, and the Orbit team reviews reports and can take a job or a company down.

Does the AI reject applicants?

No. Orbit ranks applicants against the job's must-haves and shows the evidence for each, and screening answers that miss a knock-out rule are flagged and sorted last. Rejecting always takes a person's click, and the audit log records who did it.

What does the ranking look at?

Only professional information: the resume's skills, experience and education, and the screening answers. Names, photos, age, gender and other personal traits are never inputs, and blind review hides names and contact details from reviewers.

Will my jobs show on Google?

Each open job has its own page on Orbit with Google for Jobs markup, listed in Orbit's sitemap. The markup is removed when the job closes or is paused, so Google isn't left with stale jobs.

Can job seekers on Orbit see my company's data, or can I see theirs?

No. A company sees an applicant's information only for applications made to that company, and only what the applicant chose to share. Their practice, interview sessions, documents and other Orbit data are never shown to a company.

How long is applicants' data kept?

Each company sets a retention period; by default a rejected applicant's data is deleted 12 months after the rejection. Applicants can ask for deletion from their status page, and you can delete an application or export a job's applicants at any time.

Looking for a job?

Orbit is free for job seekers.

Jobs finds openings, and Resume gets the resume ready. A company never sees your Orbit unless you apply to it.

Post your first job free. A person always decides.

Create your company, verify its domain and publish a job with its own careers page in a few minutes.

The ranking reads professional information only. Rejecting always takes a person's click.
