Orbit terms of use

Last updated 17 October 2026. These terms cover the Orbit web app, the Orbit desktop app for Windows, and everything in them: interview practice and live help, Resume AI and Jobs AI.

Who we are

Orbit ("we") is run as an individual service, not a registered company. There is no GSTIN on these pages. You can reach us through the contact page for a question, a refund, a complaint, or a request to delete your data. The price you see before you pay is the full amount: in Indian rupees in India, and in US dollars everywhere else. Nothing is added at the last step.

Using Orbit

Use it where it's allowed

Orbit is built for practice, and for interviews, calls and work where notes or AI help are allowed. Some employers, colleges, exams and platforms don't allow them. Check the rules first. You are responsible for following them. Don't use Orbit:

Orbit doesn't hide itself from other apps or from the people you talk to. The desktop app's optional privacy shield (off unless you turn it on) only asks Windows to keep its window out of screenshots and recordings; it isn't a way around anyone's rules.

AI suggestions can be wrong

Answers, resume rewrites, scores, job matches and fit checks are made by software and can be wrong or incomplete. Read them before you use them, and only say or send what is true about you. Orbit does not promise you an interview, a job, or a particular score. We don't publish reviews or user counts we can't show you in the product.

Your content

What you add (your resume, job posts, stories, transcripts) stays yours. You let us store and process it only to run Orbit for you, as the privacy policy explains. Don't upload other people's personal details without their permission. You can download your data, or delete your content or your whole account, in Settings.

Jobs from other sites

Jobs AI shows openings from companies' careers pages and job boards. We don't employ anyone, we can't check every employer, and we're not part of any hiring decision. A real employer never asks you to pay for a job, an interview or training. If a post asks for money, an OTP or a WhatsApp-only chat, don't go ahead, and tell us.

Credits, minutes and payments

Changes and availability

Features and prices can change. A pack you've already bought keeps what was in it. If these terms change in a way that matters, the date at the top of this page changes with them. If Orbit closes, we'll say so on the site and leave Settings → Account able to download your data for at least 30 days after that notice. Unused paid credits would be refunded under the refund policy for packs that haven't been used. Orbit relies on other services (hosting, transcription, AI models, payments) and may sometimes be slow or unavailable.

Our responsibility

We take care to run Orbit well, but it's provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we aren't responsible for indirect losses (such as a missed job), and our total responsibility to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the problem. Nothing here takes away rights you have under the consumer law that applies to you.

Complaints and the law

Tell us first on the contact page and we'll try to put it right. We acknowledge a complaint within 48 hours and aim to resolve it within a month. These terms are governed by the laws of India. If you live in the UK or the European Union, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country you live in, and you can bring a claim in its courts. Buyers there can cancel a purchase within 14 days, as the refund policy explains.

Fonts, pictures and accessibility

The type is Inter, Space Grotesk and JetBrains Mono, from Fontsource, under the SIL Open Font License. Pictures of the product are drawn in the app. They are not stock photos of customers. We aim for WCAG 2.1 AA. If something doesn't work with a keyboard, a screen reader, or the colours, tell us.
