Orbit refund policy
Last updated 17 October 2026. For interview-minute and AI-credit packs.
The short version
- There is no subscription. You pay once for a pack. Nothing renews, so there is nothing to cancel and no hidden fee.
- Credits and minutes don't expire while your account is open.
- Haven't used a pack? Ask within 7 days of it being added and we refund it in full to the original payment method.
- A payment went wrong? We add the credits or refund you.
- In the UK or the EU? You also have 14 days to cancel any purchase. See below.
Packs you haven't used
If none of a pack's minutes or credits have been used, ask within 7 days of the credits being added. We refund the full amount the way you paid: back through Razorpay to the same UPI account, card or bank, or, if you paid from outside India, back through PayPal to the PayPal account or card you paid with, in US dollars.
If any of that pack has been used, that pack is not refunded. Minutes and credits already used are not turned back into cash. A failed AI action is different: its credit comes back on its own.
Payment problems
- You paid and the credits haven't arrived. Card, UPI, netbanking and wallet payments through Razorpay, and PayPal payments from outside India, are added when the payment is confirmed. If they aren't there after a few minutes, write to us with the payment id (for PayPal, the transaction ID) or, for an older UPI payment checked by hand, the 12-digit UTR. We'll add the credits or refund you.
- You paid twice, or paid the wrong amount. We refund the extra, or add what the amount covers if you'd rather.
- We couldn't match a UPI payment. We'll say why on the Plan & credits page. If the money reached us, we refund it.
When Orbit gets it wrong
- If an AI action (an import, a rewrite, a cover letter) fails, its credit comes back by itself.
- If a live session or mock interview stops because of a fault on our side, tell us the session and when it happened. We'll put those minutes back.
Buying from the UK or the European Union
If you live in the UK or the EU, you have 14 days from buying a pack or a plan to change your mind and cancel it. You don't have to give a reason.
- Nothing used yet: we refund it in full.
- Already started: Orbit gives you the minutes, credits or plan days the moment you pay, because you ask for them straight away when you buy. If you cancel within the 14 days after starting, we refund the part you haven't used: the minutes and credits left in that pack, or the days left in that plan.
- How: write from the contact page with the email on the account and say you're cancelling. We refund within 14 days of hearing from you, the way you paid (through PayPal, in US dollars, if that's how you paid).
What can't be refunded
- The free welcome minutes and credit. They have no cash value.
- Minutes and credits already used, apart from the cases above (and the UK and EU cancellation right).
How to ask
Write from the contact page with the email on the account, how you paid, the date and the amount. We reply within 2 working days. An approved refund is sent within 7 working days.
Not happy with the answer? Write again from the contact page and say it's a complaint. We acknowledge it within 48 hours. This policy doesn't take away rights you have under the consumer law that applies to you.
