# How Orbit answers in real time

The numbers below are measured from real live sessions over the last 7 days. Nothing about who was in them, or what was said, is used.

## From the interviewer's question to your answer

Hover or tap a stage to see what it guarantees.

### Device capture

Your mic and the interviewer's audio (a shared tab, or the desktop app's system audio) as two separate channels.

**Speed**
Audio leaves in 50 ms frames as it's spoken; nothing waits for a full sentence.

**Privacy & security**
Raw audio is streamed for transcription and never stored. The phone companion receives text only.

## The desktop app's security

### Sign-in in the OS vault

Your session token lives in the Windows Credential Manager, macOS Keychain or Secret Service: never in a file or browser storage.

### No AI keys on your computer

The AI and transcription keys stay on Orbit's server. The app only ever holds your own session.

### Signed updates

Every installer is checked against Orbit's minisign public key, built into the app, before it runs, so a compromised server can't push code.

### Locked-down window

A strict content policy: no frames, no forms posting elsewhere, no plugins, scripts only from the app itself.
