How it works

## Pick a round, talk, then read the review.

### Step 1: Pick a round

One tap for the usual first rounds, or set the role, the company's style, how hard and how long.

You said the test cut cancellations by 6%. How did you pick the sample size?

We ran it for two weeks, split by city, so each arm had enough bookings…

### Step 2: Talk it through

The interviewer asks out loud, listens, and follows up on a gap in what you actually said.

/5Strong4 of 4 answered and scored

- Q1 Tell me about yourself
- Q2 A time you used data to change a decision
- Q3 A disagreement with a stakeholder

### Step 3: Read the review

A score for the round and for every answer: what landed, what was missing and a stronger way to say it.

One tap to start

## The rounds you'll actually face.

Each one is a full session with the AI interviewer, built from your resume and, when you add it, the job post.

### 5-min HR round

Tell me about yourself, why us, strengths, relocation: the campus HR round.

5 minutes

### Tell me about yourself

The full answer, a project from your resume, then the 30-second version.

10 minutes

### 15-min technical

Questions from your resume and the job post you pick.

15 minutes

### Panel round

The hiring manager, a senior engineer and HR. Whoever is best placed to dig into a gap in your answer asks next.

15 minutes

### Video interview

One-way, HireVue-style: 30 s to think, 90 s to answer each prompt, on camera.

10 minutes

### Salary talk (₹)

A recruiter offers ₹12 LPA fixed + ₹2 L variable. Practise asking for more.

10 minutes

After every round

## Know what to say better next time.

The review is grounded in what you said in the session, never in a script.

### A score for every answer

The round's score and each answer's, out of 5, with what went well and what to improve.

/5Strong4 of 4 answered and scored

- Q1 Tell me about yourself
- Q2 A time you used data to change a decision
- Q3 A disagreement with a stakeholder
- Q4 Why this team?

Drill 1 weak question

What went well

- The point first, then the example
- Real numbers from your own work

To improve

- In the disagreement story, name the result in numbers

### A stronger way to say it

For each answer, a better version built from what you said and your resume, never a script to learn.

What you said · Q3

We disagreed about the launch date, so I set up a meeting and we talked it through, and in the end it went fine.

A stronger way to say it

Product wanted to launch before the data was clean. I showed them the two dashboards that disagreed, we agreed to a one-week delay, and the launch numbers held up in review.

### Your weakest answers, again

Answers scored 3 or lower come back on a schedule, with follow-ups, until they hold up.

### Stories for “Tell me about a time”

Keep your stories in a story bank and practise telling each one, tested the way interviewers test them.

The onboarding testSample

- Situation Trial users were leaving before their first data source
- Task Find out why, and what to change
- Action Split the funnel by device, tested a two-screen setup
- Result Trial-to-paid up 12% that quarter

Practise telling it: the interviewer asks for the part that's thin.

### In a company's style

Rounds shaped like an employer's own, from Orbit's interview guides, or a role's usual questions.

Questions

## Questions people ask first.

Something else? [Ask the Orbit team](https://orbitanswer.com/contact) .

What kinds of rounds can I practise?

HR and recruiter screens, technical rounds from your resume and the job post, behavioural questions, a panel, a salary talk, a one-way video round and a video interview with Saba, Orbit's AI interviewer.

Who is Saba?

Saba is the AI interviewer in Orbit's video interview: a voice, never a face. She asks out loud, listens to your answer and follows up on what you said, with captions and a transcript of the call.

How are my answers scored?

After the round, each answer gets a score out of 5 with what landed, what was missing and a stronger way to say it, grounded in what you said in the session. Answers scored 3 or lower come back on a schedule until you answer them well.

Can I practise for a specific company?

Yes. A round can follow a company's own style, from Orbit's company interview guides, or the usual questions for a role.

Can I practise in Hindi?

Yes, where it's offered: practise in English, Hindi or Hinglish, and the interviewer asks in that language and the review is written in it.

Is there a free way to try it?

Yes. The free warm-up asks a common interview question and gives instant tips on length, structure and filler words, with no account needed.

What does a mock interview cost?

Mock interviews use interview minutes, by the minute, from a plan or a credit pack paid once. Nothing renews.

The same account
