- Expect attitude and communication to count as much as knowledge; ICICI Bank describes its approach as 'hire for attitude, train for skill'.
- Be ready to explain 'Fair to Customer, Fair to Bank' in your own words, with an example of balancing both.
- Revise general awareness: the RBI's role, key policy rates, UPI, KYC and recent banking news.
- Practise a short pitch for a common product, such as a savings account or credit card, and how you'd respond to a no.
- Answer location and role-flexibility questions honestly; relationship roles often involve postings across India.
- For the aptitude test, practise timed reasoning and arithmetic sets, and watch accuracy as well as speed.
